Thank God my friend suggested I go to a photo studio to have my SD card repaired... as much as I was lazy going out at that time, I went ahead and go anyway. Lo and behold, they were able to recover my files! At least one of my dilemmas has been resolved :D
So here's a quick post of archive pics of my casual outfits. I think it's better late than never :p Not exactly sure how to dress casually 'coz there are more days that I wear work clothes but here you go :)
This was my casual work outfit last Friday. Top: Surplus Shop, Vest: given by sister-in-law, black jeans, shoes: Shoebox
Love zebra prints! :D
I'm not really sure when this was taken but I'm pretty sure this was a recent pic :P Apologies for my look here, I wasn't exactly feeling well when this shot was taken... Bohemian top: thrifted, blue jeans, shoes: bought from bazaar
I talk about anything classified as quirky and classic... because in life, it's nice to have both :)

Weekend Blues
I'm usually happy once weekends kicks in but today it's a bit different... let me count the ways why this is not turning out to be my day:
1. My SD card got corrupted! I can't access the pics that I was supposed to upload on Chictopia and the pics for my online store ggggrrrr! I mean seriously??? After my laptop, here comes another technical problem?!?1? I smell sabotage :P I hope I can still recover the pics though huhuhu
2. The newest Forever 21 store here is now open (which is just one short ride away from my house) but I don't have money (I know, so sad!) :( So I'm now stuck in my house so that I won't end up disappointed...
3. My cough is killin' me! I had this for over a week already... I feel like my lung's going to explode :p
So there you go... not exactly the best of days :( But enough of the ranting :D Since I'm on house arrest, the next best thing to do is to create more accessories or watch more Korean Dramas :P It's not shopping, but I guess that's good enough for now... until I'm attacked by the "Shopping Withdrawal Syndrome" :D
So, for my Items of the Day... these pics are the some of the accessories I made a month ago that I was unable to post. Fortunately I saved it on my computer before the SD card disaster. I'll also be posting these pics on my still on-going online store...
So until the next post... hopefully by that time, I already recovered the pics :D

Swirly Bits
I think I already mentioned before that I post pics on Chictopia. I initially didn't connect this blog to my Chictopia profile as I have no intention of showing my face on this blog :D However, I realize that it's hard to post pics in Chictopia while blogging about entirely something else. So, to make things simplier, I decided to just show my face and blog about my outfit (well of course, if I have other things to talk about or if I have my items of the day, I'll include it in the blog too).
So here it is... hope you like my outfit :) Don't mind my (always) haggard face... I'm not exactly a make up person.... so right now I'm already apologizing for my face :P
The title is really about the colorful skirt. It's like an abstract painting! The more amazing thing about it is that I got it in the thrift shop :D (got to love thrift shops!) To offset the vibrant color of the skirt, I paired it with a simple top and accessories.
The accessories also serves as my Items of the Day.. I bought these at a bazaar for a very cheap price! I have them for a long time so I'm happy they didn't give up on me :P

To be or not to be....
Weight is sort of an issue to me. Ten years ago, I really thought I was fat. I'm not confident with my body. Fast forward to the present time and I'm now chubbier than ever before. My friend is always telling me to go to the gym and drink slimming coffee.... which I can't get myself to do because I'm too lazy :D My number one resolution is to lose weight but 4 months on and I still haven't shed a single pound :P (so much for not fulfilling my resolutions!)
I'm (virtually) given 2 options: (1) Follow my friend's advice (more like a demand really :P) or (2) Just accept my body and be confident about it. I recently stumbled on a blog, Girl with Curves. The blogger Tanesha Awasthi is a very pretty, curvy girl who just loves her body. I just think to myself how I wish I was like her :) Add to that, she's very stylish too! Her classic, simple style mixed with ethnic and bold accessories is a look I love so much!
I guess the moral of the story is that no matter what your shape is, you should love your body first :) Maybe I don't need the two options after all... I can go to the gym to be healthy but not fret if I still have curves... hmmm, now that's the best of both worlds!
I haven't posted an Item for Today in a long time... so speaking of bold accessories, I made some chunky bangles :) Hope you like it! I'm on the starting stage of fixing my Multiply account for my virtual store. I really hope that it will be finished soon!

Quickie...
This is definitely not the kinky type... :P All I wanna say is that I'm just doing a quick post... as you can see, my last post was in February... what a shame! Seriously, just when I got the momentum to do blogging and creating accessories again, my work and my laptop is just giving me the hard time :( My work because I usually got tired and my laptop because something went wrong that I was unable to use it... grrrr! Add to that my obsession with K-Dramas... that I did a Koreanovela marathon (particularly My Princess, which I found out is already airing! Gosh, they acquired the rights to air it here in the Philippines that fast!) ... I can't help it, it's like a drug to me... it's an addiction! I can't stop! :D
Well, I did a little something to this site... I added a Chictopia badge... and yes folks, I'm finally exposing myself :D Don't laugh at me ok (or just laugh privately but don't tell me you don't like me & my pics :p).
I'm also finally (FINALLY) taking pictures of the rest of the accessories I made because I'm slowly (take note of the word) creating a multiply site. I now have the courage (a bit) to sell some of the accessories online. Hope you'll like the accessories and buy some :) I need the money! Please help the me!!! :P
That's it for now... no item for the day from me... (I seriously hope I can update this site as much as I can...).
XOXO

Paradise!
I've been busy these past few weeks that my blog hasn't been updated. This is just a short list of the things I've done since my last post:
1. Had my haircut! (yes, I have finally fulfilled my pixie cut wish... although, I have to be more feminine so that I won't look like a guy :p)
2. Work, as always....
3. Booked for a trip to Laoag this June (Bangui Windmills & Pagupud, here I come!)
4. Work, as always...
5. Finally started creating accessories again (yehey!)
6. Work, as always...
7. Escaped to Coron, Palawan for a 5-day fun & adventure :D
Speaking of escape, if time & money would allow me, I would like to travel the whole world (or at least, the whole Philippines). Here are the places that are on my 'I wish I was here' list (no particular order):
1. Batanes, Philippines - rugged, rustic, simple living, amazing scenery
2. New Zealand - no surprise that The Lord of the Rings was shot here. Untouched and rugged landscape. A classic example of what nature can offer :)
3. South Korea - I'm a great fan of K-Pop. I also love Korean Dramas & Rom-Coms which prominently features a lot of tourist spots and ancestral places. I would definitely want to go there!
4. El Nido, Palawan - now that I've seen Coron, I would definitely want to see what El Nido has to offer :)
5. Paris, France - classic architecture, city of love, Eiffel Tower!
6. countrysides of UK - Pride & Prejudice... enough said :D
7. Great Barrier Reef, Australia - what nature has to offer under the sea
8. Camiguin, Philippines - another beach destination I want to go to someday
10. Carribean - I want to tour all the islands :D
11. Greece - Ancient Greek ruins, classic Greek mythology, Santorini
12. Italy - Venice, Rome, Milan... romance, ancient Roman history, and fashion... what more can you ask for :)
13. greater part of Europe - amazing classic architectures & lovely countryside scenery (Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Spain, & Portugal)
I may not be able to afford going to all these places I've mentioned but a girl has to dream, right :)
Now, for my item of the day...
make that, place of the day. Since I don't exactly have an item to show and I've been blabbering about traveling anyway, I will just post some pics of my recent trip to Coron, Palawan. Enjoy the pics! Hope this will inspire you to travel as well :)

Pixie Cut-e
I'm always a big fan of short hair. I rarely keep my hair long because I don't know how to take care of my hair. The slightest frizz or flyaway is like a disease that I must get rid of immediately :D I'm also lazy combing my hair and having a short hair solves that problem. It's literally wash and wear. I little hair serum or gel, mess my hair a bit and I'm ready to go. It also helps that my mother and all four sisters usually sport short hair too.
One particular style that I'm obsessing right now is the pixie cut hairstyle. I remember, I once had pixie cut hair --- during high school, when almost all of my female classmates have long hair. It was by accident how I got to have that hairstyle. I told the hairdresser to trim my hair. My hair then was a bit short already and all I want is trim the frizz. The hairdresser then turn the chair, against the mirror. I was thinking to myself --- why would he let me sit against the mirror when all I want is a trim. As he was snipping away, I can see the excess hair dropping on the floor... it was quite longer than I asked for. After he was done, he let me face the mirror again... I got the shock of my life ---my hair was too short that I thought I look like a boy! I wanted to cry/faint/shout at the hairdresser :D At school, I was hiding like a fugitive from our School Director because I know he'll disapprove of my "boyish" hair. During flag ceremony, I usually stand at the back, hiding from my taller classmates. As time passes though, I learned to love my pixie hair. It was low maintenance and cute (in my opinion). I look back at my first pixie cut and I silently thank that hairdresser for introducing it to me :D
Some say that your hair is your crowning glory which you can emphasize by having long hair and that guys dig women with long hair. I say, my hair can still be my crowning glory even if it's short and that I really don't care what guys think about my hair. This is my hair so I can do whatever I want :D Also, at this day and age, more women are sporting short hair. I'm so happy that the women I admire style-wise are also sporting pixie cut hair. Emma Watson, Carey Mulligan, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Michelle Williams are just some of the celebrities that have this hairstyle and they look gorgeous! This inspires me to try pixie cut again. My face is rounder now than when I was in high school but I guess this won't stop me from deciding to cut my hair even shorter :) Let's see...
